burning sideways

so this next face may be a little familiar. you may remember nick from a shoot a few months ago with my friend kazumi (who's band is also featured below). now, nick is teaming up with our good friend frank to create an ep. frank had a very specific vision of eerie and dark, to compliment the feel of their sound. stay tuned for their ep and enjoy the photos in the meantime.

kiss the chef

kiss the chef is a band hailing from boston, massachusetts. my good friend kazumi is the bass guitar and invited me out for a night of fun. here are some moments i captured while rocking out to their amazing sound!

my sister got hitched!

this past week i travelled back home to pennsylvania, because my sister kristi married her best friend jim kelly. the ceremony was short and sweet, just like them, and full of love. it was great to see my family and friends, as well as capture this beautiful day.

congratulations kristi and jim, 08.21.2008!

nico and zumi

last week i was feeling a bit photographic, so my friends nico and zumi got together with me and we took some pictures. i was kinda going for a simon and garfunkel album cover feel, though i'm not sure how successful i was. either way, enjoy and know that more are on the way.

berklee kids are cool. no matter what you want to say, they are. i just love them!! my good friend evan is a berklee student and last week we spent some quality time wandering around the streets of boston taking some pretty rad photos evan will be using for his new website. here's just a few of the magical moments we created.

ps - special props to ian firestone for tipping me off to these amazing locations and teaching me about the city. these wouldn't have happened without him.

plastic reverie

working at apple, i meet a lot of cool people. one of those people is chip homer. chip is a creative in the store, teaching personal workshops, but he's also in a pretty rad band called plastic reverie. a few weeks ago, they played at a small venue in downtown boston and i got the pleasure of taking some shots. here's just a few from the day. for the entire slideshow, you can visit their website here.
